OceanVeil has announced that it will begin streaming the Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san (KAMUI: He’s Behind You/うしろの正面カムイさん) TV anime starting on July 3rd, 2026. The anime will premiere on Japanese TV on July 3rd, 2026, on the Tokyo MX channel at 25:30 (effectively, July 4th at 1:30 a.m.).

The anime will be produced by WWWave Corporation’s Deregula label, and Tsukumo Takumi is directing the anime at Zero-G studios. The anime will star:
- Aono Riko as Shizuka Mimizuka
- Sugita Tomokazu as Kamui
- M.A.O as Oichi
- Izawa Shiori as Inagawa
- Aisaka Yuka as Kyoto
The anime is based on the Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san manga by Eroki and Konoshiro Shinko. Writer Eroki and artist Konoshiro started the manga in March 2020 on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in August 2020. The manga’s 12th volume was released in February 2026.
The manga story follows Shizuka, a high school girl who has the power to see ghosts. Making use of her unique ability, Shizuka works as an assistant to the famous psychic Kamui, who has an unusual method for exorcism.
